Hi everyone

Well Im back :) Had an awful week a few months ago when I gave up smoking and put back on a stone leaving me down only 7lbs - of course this really upset me and I went on a bit if a why am I bothering time.:break_diet: So now Ive decided I CAN do this again and am starting from scratch.
Have to say its soul destroying going every week and putting on 1 and 2 so thought what better way to get remotivated than to come back here - missed you all and your lovely advice!

It happens to a lot of us at some stage. The best thing is you've realised sooner rather than later and have taken back the reins. I fell of the yellow brick road and put on 6st!! :eek: And you've done something totally incredible and fantastic for your health so all is definitely not lost just because of a few pounds gained back.

You've done it before and the new you can do it again. Good luck hun, stick with it. The old you is gone and the new you is waiting to step out! :D xx

Hey lovely, welcome back to the board, good to have you back. I am also just returning after a gain, in fact I gained a stone and a half. I haven't been at this weight for 2 years so it was a huge shock. Despite gaining every week, I didn't have the motivation to do anything about it. I toyed around with calorie counting and crash dieting but I was miserable.. so here I am, back on plan having lost 4lb! You can do it and you will do it, you can get all the support you want/need here. Will you being going it alone or going to group?

Thanks everyone - yep the thought that I've still lost overall has helped!
My fridge is stocked up again with veggies and I deliberately didnt buy any wine this week - It'll be a Jack and Ginger if I fancy one :)
I go to group, its been a bit weird lately as our usual lady has been away for a while and it seems a few of us went AWOL but shes now back and its coincinding with me trying to get back on track, shes given me a nice 1lb target this week - without the vino calapso that should be ok!! Time to turn around the + into - :)
