    Hi Petra,

    I posted a linkon one of the previous threads re Chienese restaurant. Its really like any food you eat if you must go to a restaurant AVOID CARBs, this also includes red meat. All restaurants offer a chicken or fish option, go for anything grilled with a salad option and you should be fine. Alot of brazillian food is bbq or grilled anyway which is good (friend of mine is brazillian) but they eat ALOT of red meat, but as said before you should have other options.
    Mainly use herbs and spices in their food instead of cream and milk (indian) so you should have a good choice. See if you can access the restaurants menue on line, that way you can plan your choices ahead of your arriaval
