Hello everybody, I am on my first day. I have 4stone to lose. An I'm guessing its gonna take forever!

Stick at it. It took me 10 weeks to lose 4 stone 2 lbs. Thats not forever.

I really recommend Cerulean's diary (towards the end - it's mammoth!) for a really good account of how she went up the steps and into maintenance.
