Im new.... and finding it hard

I started the Cambridge Diet on Monday (22nd sept) and am finding it really hard, I am on the sole source plan and its so difficult. My first weigh in is tomorrow but I dont think it will have worked, I dont feel any different and all I want to do is eat, does this get any easier?

If you have been doing ss all week 100% you will of lost something, yes it gets easier hun stick with it you will soon feel great.xx

Good luck for tomorrow! It will get easier, I promise! The first week is probably the hardest, but once you get over that and have your first weigh in, you'll be able to keep going x

hang in one more day till you've had your weigh in kelliebobz. Don't be tempted to eat now. I'm sure you'll have a really pleasant surprise, and that should spur you on for next week.

Even though I got into ketosis on day 3 when I did the programme, and wasn't really hungry I still felt a need to eat which didn't really go away for a the first two weeks. But it was definitely worth it and I'm glad I didn't give in.

Definately keep going, that first week was so hard, even on SS+, so to get this far on SS is an acheivement itself.
I promise it gets easier, and I never thought for 1 second that I'd be enjoying the diet, let alone still on it after 6 weeks.

The will power in the first week is hard to muster, but when the weight falls off and you realise you no longer want to raid the local curry house with a truck (I'd stilllike a curry though...some day) you'll see it was worth it!

Well I had my first weigh in, lost 8 and half pound which is good but am slightly disappointed, looking at everyone elses first weeks I honestly expected a bit more, also have been told I may have to stop as I am going to have my tonsils out next week, so may have to decide to carry on with diet and not have them out or to stop diet, any advice?

I would say get your medical stuff done first then lose the weight afterwards. Your health is the most important thing in your life. The diet will always be here when you are ready to do it.
