    Good morning
    I have a taster evening at weighin tomorrow night and i just dont know what to do, some are making the quiches and some are doing scan bran cake so they are out of the question i just cant think of anything.

    Some nice and easy ideas would be great thanks :)

    Why not make a SW sponge cake? The receipe is in the receipe section on here and its a really nice cake.

    I normally use coco powder and turn this into a chocolate cake instead.

    There is a really nice Gingerbread Cake on the SW website, it's really easy to make and is yummy. It does have a syn value of 3 syns per slice. x

    I usually do a rice bake. Cook rice (obviously) frylight, onions ,garlic. tomatoes and peppers, add frozen peas and the rice, then whip 2 or 3 eggs up and bake it in a loaf tin at 180c for 30 mins, free on green or EE. If you want you can mix quark in too to make it richer.

    What about falafels which are free on green and x easy.

    3 med potatoes
    400g chickpeas
    handful of mixed herbs
    1tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp smoked paprika
    fry light

    preheat oveen 180 deg
    boil potatoes in skins for 15 mins
    Blitz chickpeas in a food processor until smooth
    chop herbs
    Mix cumin and paprika into chickpeas

    Drain pots, peel and grate into chickpeas. Add herbs and mix

    Divide into 16 oval shapes.
    Spray baking tray with frylight and cook 15/20 mins.

    You can also make a dip: -

    handful of mint ( choppped) / 1/4 pt FF yoghurt / pich cumin.
