is mincemeat a healthy extra??

Hi,

Im new to this forum so hello everyone!

I was reading a few recipes on the slimming world website and came accross the baked apple and mincemeat one and it said add 6 syns if not using the apple and the mincemeat as a healthy extra.

just wondering what the HE would be for just the mincemeat?

Mincemeat on its own would not be a HEB sorry, it only when you have it with the baked apple. xx

The apple gives you the added fibre to make it a healthy extra and possibly added bulk

Oh its the bees knees, I make my own mincemeat and with an apple and a vanilla muller its great!
