this happened to me once - was mortified. i no longer trust a fart. quite normal i think while our bodies adjust to no solid food.

Hi,
what a first post, unfortunately it is normal for some but should settle after a couple of days. Just be careful where you fart.
How long have you been on LT? Is it going ok for you other than that?

Lol @ ''no longer trusing farts''. That made me chuckle.

I have the opposite problem. My farts wont come out due to being so constipated! I'd kill for a fart like you had right now! (Well, maybe let me find a loo first..)

I need to be careful what I wish for.. The same thing has just happened to me. Thank God I was on the loo at the time. Gross!

Also feeling extremely light headed and thought I was going to pass out. Bad times. :(

I have created new name for this post as oh my god how totally embarrassing...

Just stood in kitchen, getting a drink, farted and poo came out, like runny water poo.. what is going on! I am totally embarrassed. Is this right?
Hiya Black Rose ;)

Got ya a pressie :D

In all seriousness the past couple of days I've been similar although I've always noticed the signs & been within a 30 second dash of the loo ;)

Dunno what it is but it's not pleasant to listen to....:eek:

Oh dear!!!..lol

Don't worry, it happens to lots of us when going through diet changes..

Lucky you were at home, I had a few too many sugar free gummy bears about a year ago and had that happen whilst out on a walk!!..lol

My DH gave me his sweatshirt to tie around my waist so I could get back to the car..so embarrassing!

I had runny poo on the second day and since have been struggling for any kind of poo :) A friend of mine started 2 days ago and have said that yesterday they had runny poo.
Not sure if others have had it a few weeks into the diet.

Amazingly, I too have had what I thought was an upset stomach last couple of times though the last time I had taken Fibreclear/Senekot and wondered if it was to do with that? - Not complaining though  lol

Re the detoxifying comment, Is it normal for this to happen a few weeks into the diet once your body gets into the flow of things?

Can`t go then can`t stop? :massmoon: lol

Lol, yep that has happened to me once, i'm constipated most of the time which I can only describe as large rabbit poo, but one time I thought I was getting rid of some wind and soaked my boxers, wasn't like poo though it was more like water. Hasn't happened again though, thankfully.

Still find it hard to poo and don't go for days.

What is the best thing to use if suffering constipation?

Hopefully that is your embarassing moment and there will be no more.

In Liverpool, we call the accidental pooing when you think it's only a fart "Following through" as in- "OMG, I just followed through!!" :sick0019:
Not great, but it seems we've all done it at some point:wave_cry:
I emailed Lipotrim on Saturday to ask about Senokot High Fibre sachets (they used to be called Fybogel) They emailed me back and said it's fine to take them. I'm taking 3 sachets a day, with my shake (not IN it) and the dreadful constipation, which was like sheep sh1t, has gone at last and I feel fab!
Give it a go, if they say it's OK, you can feel secure that it won't knock you out of ketosis.
Hope this helps! :)
