It does help, actually, especially if you view it as somewhere you can pour out how you really feel. It makes for fascinating reading when you read back over the weeks. I think you really can learn stuff about yourself that you hadn't really realised before, like what makes you want to eat, what your personal food triggers are, that sort of thing.

And there's no obligation to post something every day. Some folks only post on a weekly basis. Some post several times a day!
