Hi all, just found this site, i first done Cambridge ss about 6years ago and managed to lose a fantastic 6+1/2 stone! :D
I managed to keep it off (going up+down by about half a stone) for around 3 years, however over the last 3years it crept back on, the last 8mths to a year has flew on
I started again on Wednesday, so on Day 4 i don't know my weight, didn't want to find out but am going to find out my weight loses each week
I hope reading your stories + you replying to mine will help keep me motivated!
I've got that 'heavy feeling' today, like my legs are made of lead-one feeling i'd totally forgotten

Hi lou and welcome honey. At least you know what to expect, won't be long till your first weigh in, and as we all know, that keeps us motivated x x

Hiya + thanx :) yeah i really cant wait on my first weigh in on Tuesday, trying to put out my mind what I lost on week one the first time round (i lost a stone) what ever i lose this time will be going in the right direction, even if it is less x

Well done for loosing all that weight. Today is my first day on the Cambridge diet. Finding it ok at the moment but I'm hungry. I'm on 4 shakes a day and water, I'm 22 stone and want to get down to 14 stone.

Hiya tk, well done for taking the hardest step..starting :) The hungry feeling does go, honestly! for me the first 3days are the hardest, remember and keep drinking lots +lots of water. I have a big glass before my soup, a glass while im eating then another when i'm finished.
I try and set mini goals as well, pick something small to treat yourself with (not food related lol) every time you lose half a stone or a stone + it doesn't make your target feel so far away.
Be confident, you can do it! :D

Lou x

Thank you for your advice setting goals is a good idea and treats. I think for me it's all mental you feel hungry cause you know you can't eat. But I'm determined to do well and final get skinny and enjoy wearing nice clothes without hiding away in track suits thanks again for your support tkx

Your welcome, It helps me keep focused as well!

Well done both of you for starting (or re-starting) get through the first few days and it becomes easier - or at least the hunger goes away which certainly helps!! So much support and help on here will help you get through those first tough days!

Thanx
