JO,S DIARY no more lurking for me

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Well I,m finally starting a diary (big shock on scales this morning:eek:) so I thought thats it, back on WW & I think this is the best site for encouragement & motivation.

I was doing well last summer lurking on here & doing WW from home. I managed to loose 24lbs and guess what I,ve managed to put 16lbs back on:(

We moved to Germany at the end of August & its really hard to follow WW out here & I,m not working out here either which I think is a big factor for me aswell!

Anyway enough excuses its my own stupid fault for letting it creep back on!!
Thats why I,m starting today as normally I would leave it until Monday & have a blowout over the weekend, but I think I,ve had enough over xmas & new year;)

Well its my 40th birthday this april & as the old saying goes I don,t want to be fat&forty ha ha
I WILL BE FIT&FORTY:D

Well thats enough ranting from me, I hope we can all give each other some encouragement & make 2010 a fitter year for all of us

Oh & by the way did I mention I,m a complete techno phobe so I might need some help along the way:eek:

Well today hasen,t gone too bad so far, we are an hour ahead out here so I,m starting to think about dinner.
I,ve decided to take the safe option & have jacket spud with tuna & vine toms on the side.
We are going round friends for drinks & nibbles tonight:eek:

Taking white wine & diet sprite, just have to watch what I nibble;)

Well it is blizzard conditions out here today!
But everyone just seems to carry on, most people have winter tyres on so they are well prepared.

I started off good today with weetibix for breakfast but then had a sneaky Mcdonalds whilst out shopping so will have to be good for dinner if I want to have a couple of vodkas later:D

I do feel better though for making the decision to get back on WW, & starting this diary.

Not going no where tonight it is just too damn cold, so feet up & tv & couple of voddies:)

I keep wanting some junk food but keep resisting as i begrudge spending such a large chunk of my points on something thats not that filling. Although the curry sauce they do in mcdonalds is my absolute favourite, i crave it! I try to make a lower point version to give you that flavour hit, i have birdseye chicken burgers in toasted pittas and if you add a bit of englsih mustard to some low fat mayo it makes it taste awesome, like high high fat take away mayo. yum yum, i might have that for dinner actually with some BNS chips for 0 points.
Not looking forward to getting more snow today and tomorrow as all the grit they have put out will be covered again and it will once more return to an ice-rink.
Well done for getting back on it, your doing really well considering going round friends houses! Usually thats a deal breaker for me when i cant know the points in thinks!

that sounds loovvelly will deffo try that, yeah McDonalds is lethal & you eat it so quick & wonder where all the points have gone(straight to my ample derriere) Its like I can,t go in with my daughter & sit there with a diet coke, although we do try to make it a treat just now & again as I don,t want her to get into the junk food habit:)

I cant even have the diet coke!!! I would live off it if i could as its so good for a sweet hit but alas not allowed!

Hate to bring it up again but it just soooo cold here:(

My hubby has took our daughter sledging, I feel abit bad for not going with them but he knows I hate the cold.
Supposed to be catching up on ironing, but coming on here is much more interesting don,t you think?

Been very good so far today
breakfast 2 slices toast with apricot jam
Lunch spring veg soup& 2 slices bread, alpen lite bar

I am cooking (yes cooking) cheese&bacon pasta for dinner so will let you know if its a winner:)

Nice to see another lurker converted Jo! I was one for a while myself then bit the biscuit. I do WW from home so if I can help in any way just give me a shout. Dont panic about the McDs, as long as you point it you'll be fine.

Well what a day, we found out that we are moving back to the Uk in July YAY!
I do like Germany but it will be great to be back in good old blighty
missing family & friends big time:(
Also it is soo hard to follow WW out here
Been very good today but need to start eating more fruit & drink more water which I find hard in this weather BBRRR!
Going to start thinking about exercise aswell, started walking before xmas & was really enjoying it, but since the bad weather I haven,t done any. I think I,m gonna do ex dvd until weather clears up than get back into the walking, I think its better being outside in the fresh air:D

You sound really excited...its funny how you take it for granted when you are here but feel cut off when you are gone.
Yes thats right, well I,ve got until July to try & shift some lbs before we get back to the UK
Feeling really positive at the mo, just hope it lasts:D

I think if I concentrate on getting back into the diet this week & then start focusing on exercise :D

Another good day today although I nearly succumbed to a box of after eights:eek:

B-2weetabix & s/s milk
L-tuna salad sandwich & apple
D-jacketspud & tin of bolognese shells
Snacks- curly wurly & wotsits
