Hello all......... I've been hovering around for a bit, reading lots of info and have decided to join you
I've lost quite a bit of weight but have more to go. Started with exante which gradually morphed into low carb as I wasn't very good at sticking to just shakes. Think I lasted about 4 weeks. Then was low carbing for a while which I love... then I saw the Horizon programme on IF so continued low carbing and experimenting with IF. Tried various ways... 2:5 days and 18:6 hours both of which I found relatively easy. Best of all, I could still eat!
I just tried to go back to exante as I need an operation but really, deprivation does funny things to my head and I just couldn't do it. I've decided to go back to my low carb weight loss and combine it with JUDD. I'm waiting for the book but I'm confident I can wing it till then. Weight loss will be slower but I'll be sooo much happier and if I have to wait a bit longer for my op then so be it. Life's for living after all
I will up my carbs a bit as I'll have to calorie count but one things for sure, I can't eat wheat... does horrible things to me including IBS and migraines. So, I'll still be off most refined foods but maybe introduce some rice and oats. I'm vegetarian but that hasn't been a problem so far so I'll continue to eat tons of veg and have cheese/eggs/tofu for protein.
Bring it on! xx
