I am so excited! I am seeing my GP tomorrow to sign the forms and then seeing my CDC next week.
Had a really good chat with her on the phone and she suggested starting my 2ltrs of water a day now and cutting back on carbs so the diet kicks in quickly.
I started keeping a count and found I was averging about 130g of carbs a day and have managed to get that down to 90g now but dont want to cut out all fruit and veg until I start the plan as I dont want to miss out on vitamins etc.
Did anyone else cut back on carbs before starting? If so how many grams did you go to? I am totally new to low carb programmes and so am a little clueless
I have also cut back on calories a lot - more to get me used to not eating so much. Have gone from 1500 a day to 800 and am feeling well and happy, hoping this means the 1st week is not such a shock to the system.
Will update this one thread over my journey so I can see my own progress.
I am so convinced that removing food is the way to go for me, hoping it will help me build a much better relationship with it when the SS is over
