    1. Do you keep a written record of what you eat?

Sort of. If I'm having a good diet day I track it on Weight Loss Resources

    2. Do you drink 8 glasses or more of water per day?
I'd say 5 days out of 7 I do, it truly does keep hunger pangs at bay.

    3. Have you reached a plateau? If so, how did you overcome it?
I've never reached a plateu yet. I get so far then - by my own doing - go off on a tangent and end up gaining all the weight I have lost.

    4. Top two reasons for wanting to lose weight, please.
To look good and to increase my body confidence.

    5. What is the hardest aspect of counting calories for you?
Making the decision, when you are running out of calories, whether to 'be good' and make food sacrifices, or to say 'oh sod it, start again tomorrow'

    6. What is the easiest aspect of counting calories for you?
    Knowing that nothing is banned

    7. How many calories do you eat per day?
God, depends! Officially 1100 + any exercise calories I have earned.

    1. Do you keep a written record of what you eat?

Erm, not really, I start off with the best intentions with regards to recording my calorie intake, but that usually falls by the wayside after day 2 or so :D:rolleyes:

    2. Do you drink 8 glasses or more of water per day?

Again, no, I drink about a glass full of water a day (if that), I detest the taste of water, and normally drink diet coke or pepsi max (I know, I'm awful ;))

    3. Have you reached a plateau? If so, how did you overcome it?

In the past I have reached a plateau, and it is so dishearting, but I just keep doing what I'm doing and it does eventually come off.

    4. Top two reasons for wanting to lose weight, please.

Will reduce the symptons of my PCOS and also to just feel good about myself again and have my confidence back.

    5. What is the hardest aspect of counting calories for you?

I think it's just learning the portion control, and being disciplined to not go over my calorie intake for that day.

    6. What is the easiest aspect of counting calories for you?

Knowing I don't have to deprive myself of certain foods, If I count it then I can have it, and I must say I like that freedom, If I want a potato and some chicken in one day, I can have it without breaking any rules :D

    7. How many calories do you eat per day?

    Between 1100 - 1300 a day

I aim for 1500 but I usually eat around 1700.

    Helloooooo noisey Help ;)

    1. Do you keep a written record of what you eat? ...yes in a journal type thingy...hand written, full of scribbles, notes and obscenities too.

    2. Do you drink 8 glasses or more of water per day?
I drink 6 x 500ml glasses of water...most days. I don't like anything but water, coffee & wine to drink so I am easy to please.

    3. Have you reached a plateau? If so, how did you overcome it?
Have done on previous diets, I usually shock my body into action by changing something...few less/few more calories for a few days, different type of exercise, drink more water, drop bread for a few days, measure myself so I see a difference there and don't feel too disheartend.

    4. Top two reasons for wanting to lose weight, please.
To get back into all my gorgeous size 10/12 clothes...to feel more confident in myself. Being overweight certainly makes me inhibited, depressed, lack lustre and shy.

    5. What is the hardest aspect of counting calories for you?

Nothing hard about counting calories for me, I find the occasional emotional eating binges that I do the hardest thing to change...but I'm getting there.

    6. What is the easiest aspect of counting calories for you?
Varied food, can shake up and mix up the calories as and when you please so the body doesn't get complacent, I control what I eat and control is very important to me when it comes to dieting, food is tasty.

    7. How many calories do you eat per day?

    Between 1100 and 1500

Thanks for the questions...makes intersting reading.

    1. Do you keep a written record of what you eat?

no - only if I'm having a bad day (rare)

    2. Do you drink 8 glasses or more of water per day?

sometimes - but not often enough. I usally manage about 3 litres including tea and coffee

    3. Have you reached a plateau? If so, how did you overcome it?

I did last time I tried to diet. I was stuck for 3 months. I increased exercise etc - and it made no difference. I lost heart and gave up. This time, should it happen again, I'm going to go SS

    4. Top two reasons for wanting to lose weight, please.

To feel better, look better and increase fitness.

    5. What is the hardest aspect of counting calories for you?

No hard bit - I don't count them! I'm healthy easting atm. I've cut out bread, potatoes and pasta, rice, butter, cheese - apart from small amounts if I'm not having meat in my meal. Nothing fattening.

    6. What is the easiest aspect of counting calories for you?

Not having to count them :D

    7. How many calories do you eat per day?

I'd guess a max 800 at the moment

I'm on ad-lib water / tea / coffee (the latter only with tiny amount of skimmed milk) and one meal a day with whatever I fancy within reason. I'll work out a maintenance plan when I manage to lose a good bit more.

Example : dinner tonight was some dry fried lean lamb after all the fat trimmed off sprinkled with cummin, some steamed courgettes with chilli, brussell sprouts, some home made raw spiced onion.... followed by some blueberries to nibble on
