Just about to start week 7 and I'm struggling!

Hi everyone!

After having been lurking around this website for a few weeks I thought I'd finally make myself known :)

I've been doing the Cambridge Diet since 23 July and so far I've lost 26lb which is amazing! My counsellor is continually surprised at how quickly I've lost the weight mainly cos (in her words) I don't have that much to lose - she awesome!

Normally I'm really good at the weekend, weigh day is Monday, but I crumbled today and although I've been sticking to SS so far I had a 2 egg omelette with 80g of mushrooms in, I know it's within the guidelines of Step 2 so I'm not too concerned that it will affect my weight loss but I'm concerned that by introducing food before I should really it could be a slippery slope into a piece of this, that and the other!!!

How difficult is it to reintroduce food and move up the steps and still stay in control?
 
planning is everything - make a plan for what you're going to do and don't think of it as reintroducing food at this point - it's more like funny shaped packs :) have your exact plan set out and make sure you stick to it. Have plenty of treats lined up for the tricky times - like lovely bubbly baths and nice moisturisers..

make a list of reasons why you're doing this..

Thanks! I have a HUGE long list for why I'm doing this and I know it's so worth it, I just had a wobble today. 3 people noticed my weight loss at work on Friday and that feeling was great so I'm trying to focus on keeping it going to get everyone to notice the new slimmed down version of me.

I do feel like I'm wishing my life away though! In a month I could nearly be at target so just wish I could get there sooner haha!

There is no better feeling and motivator than when others notice your weight loss ........ its amazing. Well done on your loss and keep going :D
