Just on my 5thim day

    Hi everyone, I just started lipotrim 5 days ago, I felt absolutely awful on the 4th day and I ate some rubbish but Im back on it again and intend to stick at it. However, I feel really pathetic I couldnt stick to it on 4th day. Do you think ive destroyed any possible weightloss and Is it a bad omen for the weeks to come? I feel really bad and I want this so much. I cant understand why I sabotage myself though, at the moment I feel pathetic despite sticking to it today. Please, can anyone share some words of wisdom? By the way this site is brilliant and the encouragement given is great.

    you slipped up and no thats not great but the most important thing is that you carried on and havent given up.

    when you said you cheated what did you eat?

    just focus on the long term goal, the more slim, happy and confident you and you CAN get there.

    everyone makes mistakes, just move past it, drink plenty of water, get all 3 shakes in and focus on the end result :)

    Thanks Justforme, that was helpful, as you said I just have to get back into it. I just picked all day, didnt take one of the shakes when I should have and thats what probably messed me up. I picked on chips, chicken and brown bread, I didnt eat full portions but enough to mess me up. Ive drank the 3 shakes today but My mood is awful. I guess I just need to start thinking positively but thanks again for your kind advice x

    no more picking !! - you can do this. just remember why you started this journey in the first place, you can only do it for you.

    remember the feeling you are having right now and cling onto it for as long as you can - you don't like that feeling - send that message to your head and your heart and continue.

    Thanks so much Caren. Im 36 now and Ive struggled with my weight for the last twenty years, I just want this to work for me now. I read somewhere that my weight problem could be linked to my emotions and I really believe that. I want it so much and I just tend to sabotage myself all the time. But I know this is my last chance because Ive tried everything else and I dont want to be fat when I hit 40. Im so delighted I came across this website and I believe its going to be a lifeline for me. Thanks ever so much and congrats on your own determination and weightloss to date. I hope that once two weeks pass, Ill be in the swing of things and in a happy place like so many great achievers on this. Thanks again x

    You are more than welcome - we are all here to help each other.

    I've had a really crapppy day today - but came on here and with everyone elses stories - my day seemed quite trivial. My motivation is back up and on it now - I don't think I would have lasted anywhere near 11 weeks if it wasn't for this site (well all of the gals and guys on it !!).

    Keep that positive attitude and you go far !!!

    im on my 5th day also and i was literally one step from cheatin it was pot luck i didnt to be honest i nearly got caught. dont feel bad you will be bac on track in no time. the urge for food is really strong you've been trained to eat food your hole life.

    Hi Candyloss, hope you are feeling better now and less angry with yourself. Everyone has their difficult day, yesterday was yours so put it behind you and get back in the swing of things. It may take you longer now to get into ketosis but will hit in a couple of days. Once it does, you will be fine and you will go through the rest of this journey with renewed motivation.     Hey there hun,

    don't be so hard on yourself. Losing weight is HARD...and LT is tough. BUT....very much worth it! I hear what you're saying about sabotaging yourself- I do that too. I think that food and self-esteem are definitely linked. People who don't have weight problems really don't GET that it's an addiction- one which is very hard to break free from. That's why something like lipotrim, which makes you go 'cold turkey' is great. It gives us time to think about the emotions behind our over-eating. I'm no psychiatrist but I know that when I binge eat there are often underlying issues. I also know that all of us can overcome the emotional attachment to food (however tough) and become comfortable in our bodies.

    Look through some of the posts on here and it'll make you realise you're not alone. You'll also see that loads of people have had incredible losses and are maintaining a lower weight now. When I feel that all-consuming desire to eat I just think about my end goal and remember that however unhappy I feel about not eating, being hugely overweight is far more distressing.

    You can do it!!! Put this slip up down to a moment of madness and get back in the LT saddle. In a few weeks you'll be seeing fab losses and feeling great about yourself and the diet.
