    Hey everyone

    Ive just started yesterday feeling great so far hopefully i am able to stick with it! Anyone want to buddy up for support?

    I started yesterday too! I have done the diet before about 6 years ago and lost 5 stone. I'm happy to buddy up with you how much are you hoping to lose?

    Hi, I started yesterday too! Was struggling this morning but have drunk through 1.5l of water and am now ready for my 'lunch'. I would like to lose 3 stone - have shifted a stone through Slimming World since Jan. So here I am now on CD. Previously tried last year and lasted a month, would be happy with that again - although 2 months would be great :)

    Hi Jmc81, I started yesterday (day 2 today) would love a buddy! My first time on CD so all the support I can get! Maid of Honour for my sister in 8 weeks and want to lose 2 stone by then and then a further stone after that!

    I need to shift 5 stone again! Holidays in 9 weeks time would like 2 stone off by then and will continue the journey after my hols. When is your weigh in day mine is monday?

    Same here jay631 - how you finding it, I feel okay still! Had the obvious hunger pains, a couple headaches on the first day, missing food a little now but I am ignoring those and just perservering!

    I am finding it quite good to be fair. The rumbling stomach is persistent and a slight dizzy feel now and again but other than that it’s going fine.

    I am finding that my senses are very alert I can smell pastries and food when I get of the train and also could even sniff out some guy eating a sausage and egg mcmuffin earlier on the tube to work “I had to look away"

    The worst part is smelling food. I seem to put it to the back of my mind until I see or smell it..

    I seem to be waking up at 0300 hours as well.. Don’t know what that’s about but I get back easily. Along with the more frequent trips to the toilet as I have never consumed so much water in my life. I am also getting muscle cramps. It may have something to do with this or not I don’t know I hope it will pass soon..

    Keep going we can both do this, I have heard that the first week is the worst and after that we just need to make this second nature. :)

    Thanks Jay! Definitely feeling the senses thing - I try to go out at lunch at work because if I sit at my desk I can smell everyones hot lunches. The only thing I really struggle with is the soup - forced myself for lunch the last two days! I think today I am going to just have another shake and then i'll have porridge tonight!

    Yes definitely going to the toilet all the time! I hope that just seeing a loss on Sunday will push me on, I cant afford to give up because I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into in 8 weeks and very little time!

    We can do it! Today is definitely harder than yesterday :(

    I weigh in next Monday, just hoping what the scales will make me want to carry on. I've never carried on past 3-4 weeks but I really need too this time and keep it off for good.

    I'm feeling okish, it's just the water consumption thats killing me, apart from my morning coffee and then maybe two glasses of diet coke a day I didn't get much more than that. I'm alternating the toilet I use at work so the receptionist doesn't think I have the runs. Trying to drink it all in the day as I go too much at night otherwise!

    I wish!! Would love to fast forward!
    There's something about the porridge that I love but I always feel SO naughty after cause it makes me so bloated. My CDC has said I need to stop worrying and feeling guilty for eating the shakes etc - I just can't get over how they taste good and aren't fattening! (I used to have an eating disorder - hence the weight gain and food panic) x

    Lets all buddy up....think we all need the support!! Day 3 done....really crappy head (I am used to drinking 7 cans of coke zero a day, so the withdrawal is horrible). Not really hungry but I am missing food. Weekends are always harder but I know I will do this. I don't think I am worried about doing this diet again as i know, give it another few days, this diet gets easy, it's the maintenance that is a struggle. May go to bed soon as my head just feels .....just not right. Will check in tomorrow x

    So first weigh in today (after only 5 days sole source) - lost 7lbs. Now for a proper full week! Hoping this week is easier and if not this week then next! So worth the results! X

    i did it yesterday but spoiled myself with having my little girls birthday cake lol. new start tomorrow.pls keep on at me...i have no support at home. family think its silly and its just me and kids in my house so u r all i have!!
