I have been on SS+ for 6 weeks now and except for a few occasions i haven't found it too difficult (the first 4 days + good weather (BBQs)=hell:cry. I have done a lot of mulling about my ever constant weight issues since starting CD. I mean, my fridge was always full of "healthy" choices - low fat spreads, low fat cheese, low fat salad dressings, low fat yoghurts etc. My "treats" were low fat crisps, low fat Healthy eating bars and so on. I made what i thought were healthy choices and kept to low fat. Yet i was still 4 stone overweight (even tried Xenical a few years ago - didn't lose any weight). I could never understand Why? I have tried every diet going and did lose 3 stone on WW (all on again!:cryHow can i be sure this time that the weight will stay off? I am really worried about this but have to say that since starting CD i do have a greater understanding why my weight is an issue and where i have been going wrong. Also being on Minimins has really helped. If i feel a bit shaky i sign on and read about all the poor peeps who went off on a binge and it reminds me that i don;t want to feel like that. I haven't been a total angel and have had my fair share of picking (no carbs though!!)but reading the success stories and looking at the photos really keeps me motivated (eg Porgeous - what a star!!)
Couldn't do it without you all and that incudes my CDC - who keeps me on the straight and narrow when i am tempted.
