Keep going to class, even when target reached!

Dear MiniMinners,

What a wonderful forum! I've found so many interesting comments, ideas and recipes, I thought I should join.

Went to Slimming World (Birkdale, Southport), reached target (12st 3lb) and stopped going. What a mistake! Without the support of the group and our wonderful leader Pam Crossen I put a stone back on even though my wife Alison was still attending and I was (I thought) following the plan.

Now I attend every week and the weight comes off. On holidays we don't do the plan much and weight goes on, but we know that when we return it will come off again.

Favourite things to make are soups, especially Leek & Potato from the SW 100 Green Recipes book.

That's a good idea. I think Maintaining will be an issue for me. I'm trying to change how I think about food so that dosnt happen.
