Please dont worry.....you WILL feel lighter a few months down the line if you stick to it :) have you had your 1st WI since being on the diet? when is it? I find after I have been weighed and see the lbs coming off it will spur you on and make you feel good :) I Love WI day cause it motivates me for the rest of the week. Dont worry, you wont feel lighter at 1st but it will come ;)

I was in your boat. i started on xenical and felt exactly the same after 2 weeks, then i ended up going off the wagon MAJORLY!! but it didnt make me feel any better and i realised i DIDNT HAVE A CHOICE but to get back on it and stick it out. after years of yoyo dieting you almost WANT yourself to fail. im taking each day at a time but im definatly in a better place at the mo.

all diets "work" if you stick them out, dieting is a mental battle that takes inner strenght to win!

Thanks, I have to go back to doctors in 3 weeks to get weighed, I really cant rely on my scales and dont really want to get into habit of weighing as i get a bit ocd about it. Its so long since i really tried to get this monster under control and i always end up jackin in a few weeks into it, i really dont want to do that, am just so scared atm of it going pear shaped x

if you can't wait till you go to the docs you could always decide to go to boots or somewhere and weigh in once a week there are lots of people on here who do that!

Also have you taken your measurements? They are always a nice indication of just how well you are doing even if you don't feel lighter.

Celtgirl is right it is a mental battle for all of us, i losing weight was really that easy we would all be skinny little things!!!

Just stick with it and you will be fine xx

what motivates me when i feel like that is watching shows like supersize vs superskinny or you are what you eat. you can watch them on youtube, really puts things into perspective when your about to binge!!

I am kind of feeling the same as you, like it's not really working & that I'm not going to lose anything. You have the right idea when you say you're not going to weigh incase you get OCD about it - just hide those scales to stop the temptation! Like everyone has said it does work we just need to give it time, so hang in there :D I am sure you'll get a loss hun!! xxxxx

you're probably not going to "feel" any lighter for quite a while, but you may feel different inside for example,not feeling so sluggish.
as far your calories,how many are you eating roughly? i know its hard and can be confusing at first but if you dont eat enough calories that can be just as bad as eating far too many..

someone once said to me here,it took a long time for the weight to go on,its going to be a bigger journey to get it off.

Hi bunny, am getting around 1400, thats what i aim for everyday. Yeah I know its not a race :eek: am sooooo impatient lol Thanks for your encouragement means alot :) xxx

How do you get to 1400cals? I can hardly get 1000 most days! it's really frustrating because I'm always full and myfitnesspal tells me I'm not eating enough.

aww, i know how that feels,hmmm if you cant possible eat anymore then why not try drinking something to build up the calories?...

for example,milkshakes.

frijj milkshakes, like the chocolate fudge, is completely within the xenical rules

100mls is only 1g of fat..if you had a whole milkshake,which is 500mls you'd have 6gs of fat but your calories would be 380 for that, you could have half of that if you wanted too. :D

ha ha celtgirl...yeah its mad, you wouldnt think it,but they are!

whats your favourite flavour and i'll look it up for...ive got a huge list of my favourite stuff in a note pad :)

Thanks :) bit worried about having too many carbs too though. But i guess the odd milkshake won't hurt :p
