Yes, it was amusing, was a fun lesson, only 1 of the two girls turned up for the lesson, and she was scared to even touch the drums for ages cos she didnt want to break them...lol... by the end of it , she was sitting along with OH drumming along to Coldplay's Yellow

Really made me sad reading this... How times have changed! Although half the time it's happening in peoples homes, not drum lessons

It is disturbing, so many dodgy people have ruined it all for the genuine ones nowadays. we're not even supposed to hug kids anymore.. was definitely much better when i was younger..so difficult, especially when there are so many kids out there that aren't getting the affection and encouragement that they deserve just to develop into confident and assured adults.. Still, I wouldnt do any other job!

Hearing wasnt too badly affected, she's a natural so it actually sounded pretty good

Not sure with flat painting , know that i want to put some kind of colour in bathroom as its all magnolia, but its also really quite small so not sure... Bedroom am going to do one wall pink, not anymore than that as curtains are shocking pink lol In the lounge, the OH is debating what colour should go in there, he suggested peach, but im not sure lol .... And I've got a massive landing/hall so I'm thinking of doing that a nice warm yellow or something... Too many thoughts! ha ha!!

Well, weekend was busy busy... was face painting for about 7 hrs on saturday, great fun! created all sorts from hello kittys, zebras,tigers, monsters, giant strawberries, etc great excuse to paint someones face ha ha

sunday was a bit of a doss around (always good for a bank hol!) and monday had coffee with OH and folks in am, around town in afternoon and back to mine for chill out in evening... it felt really busy but it was a lovely weekend. definitely beginning to develop a secret separation anxiety tho when my boy goes home get so used to him being around over holidays, currently feeling like a week day widow...

im probs not the best person to ask about decorating.. i love muted and neutral (i also love magnolia hahaha ) with one feature wall. Much easier to redecorate in future and you can spend more on furnishings

face painting sounds totally ace.. used to love getting mine done as a kid

hope you dont suffer too much with the seperation.. must be difficult when you get used to being together!

I'm no good with the decorating advice either, I take ages to actually decide what I want and change my mind so many times. I do like to look at home mags though.

I'm with you on the separation anxiety, have been missing Mr V lots over the past few days, feeling mighty soppy.

Ha ha!!!! It's prob very true! lol... The week off that I had I did have moments where I had to go downstairs and amuse myself for moments otherwise there may have been some violence inflicted...lol... I've lived on my own for about 6yrs so i imagine when we finally do merge, it's going to be interesting! lol

Aw....it's nice to be soppy although i was soppy as anything monday eve, come last night when i was back to being on my own, i was annoyed at him for leaving me... guess thats why they accuse us females of being so quick to change moods lol

Well , I have WI at 1, and Im going to go and take whatever the scales tell me.. This is the end of the holiday period properly now, and i have gone slightly cuckoo recently.... Kals diary helped me get the kick up the backside i needed to get me back on track, as well as the fact that from eating so many takeouts etc (always the 'healthier' options tho ) my body's beginnin to feel like poo again.... so it's 100% for me from now on, i will get this poundage shifted and cinderella WILL go to the ball! lol

Well...scales gave me a STS this week... which I actually feel was very very generous of them (must have bribed them sufficiently) I actually felt I justifiably deserved a gain this week...with my bank holiday scoffing i was sure it was going to be bad (that would be due to the KFC at lunch, the 99 in the avo and then pasta with sausages n cheese....im surprised i didnt flaming explode...)

So yes, that's it. no more getting through week by week and dreading the scales, i am back on it 100%, no cheating, no hoping something will magically fit in my points even when there's no room for them....and i give you permission to tell me off too xxx

I've been having a bit of a pondering afternoon, and browsing the WW site for some recipe inspiration lol decided that in future when I'm cooking for OH, he's going to get WW styled food, that way I dont slip up because of it.. common sense would have told me to do that a long time ago!! lol... xx

Well today I've been on my determined day...not one thing that has passed my lips has escaped being pointed.. forgot how much of a difference it makes when you actually have to 'physically' account for .... lol.. got 13 points to play with for dinner tonight, so aiming to go for something decent, nothing naughty.. I want at least another stone or two gone by christmas..

On unrelated note, had to go down our walk in clinic at lunch time today as my wrist was in shooting pain, turns out I have tenosynovitis, which means all my tendons and muscles in my wrist are rubbing against each other, causing them to get inflamed and angry, resulting in pain for lil me so i've got a wonderful splint to wear until the situation resolves itself.. Silly body!!

Am currently resisting the temptation to go downstairs to our vending machine... I can literally hear a Galaxy bar screaming my name...must resist...... xxxx

No, they've told me to take Ibuprofen for the pain.. It only really hurts when Im at work, unfortunately that requires a lot of typing lol.. Hopefully it will ease up soon, it's also in my writing hand which is a little inconvenient and awkward, especially with the splint now too lol... will most likely have hand writing like a 5yr old for a few days lol

Have so far managed to resist galaxy....even when my colleague tried to convince me to take a walk down with her...lol
