HELP! *bit of background* I work as a nanny looking after 3 boys, normally in London, but as it is half-term this week I am with them at their holiday house in Cornwall with NOTHING around.....so I am having to eat the food provided and not my own stuff.

Today they have made a lamb roast for lunch, I'd feel really rude not having any so I have eaten a very light breakfast. How many points in a roast dinner?? how many roast potatos should I have?? need help quick!

I'm worried this will come a bit late, but welldone on the planning ahead and saving points for this meal Hun!!!
As usual it all depends on what you are eating.
An average small Roast Potato is 1.5points.
Lamb, Roast, lean only, 1 medium slice, (35g) is 1.5points.
Most veg is 0points if it has no fat added during cooking.
Peas, 1 heaped tablespoon, (35g) is 0.5points.
Yorkshire Puddings vary greatly from 0.5points for some readymade varieties to 2+points for homemade depending on size and fat used.
Mashed potato (mashed with marg) 1 scoop (60g) is 1point
Mint sauce, 1 teaspoon, 7g is 0points
Mint Jelly, 1 tablespoon, 20g is 1point
Gravy (again) varies hugely.... this is where I struggle to count, I normally guesstimate 2 or 3points for a small serving of gravy made with meat juices etc, but I could be wrong on that.
Gravy granules/powder, 1 teaspoon, (3g) is 0.5points
(A teaspoon wouldn't make up much gravy and as you aren't cooking, you couldn't be sure that fat, meat juices or flour weren't added.)
Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Hope you had a lovely meal Hun!!!!
xx
