Here I am again. This is about the millionth time I have started Slimming World again. Not to say I havnt had any success tho. I am 4 stone down with only about 1.5 - 2 stone to go, so dieting has really worked for me, but I havnt lost anything in about a month so I think I might have hit a plateau :(

I have been calorie counting which for the most part has been fine, but I have started running recently and I am just finding myself more and more hungry! Calorie counting does prevent too much snacking so back to Slimming World it is, where I can eat free foods to my hearts content.

I am starting today with a green day, which I have never really done (I am a red girl all the way, carbs hate me), so any help and advice would be appreciated on what I am doing wrong, or suggestions as to what foods I can eat on green! I will be mixing it up with reds I am sure :)

So here goes.....

Day 1 - GREEN

Breakfast - Marks and Spencer instant porridge pot (not sure on this one syn wise, will go find out!!)

Lunch - Pasta (FREE) Chickpeas(FREE) pepper (FREE) jalapenos mushrooms (FREE) paprika(FREE) tomato puree (FREE) Bisto granules 2 tsp (2 syns)

Snack - Tesco mini houmos pot (??????) carrotts (FREE)

Dinner -

Total Syns -

Hi Lauren I know exactly how your feeling ive just started a diary on here almost saying the same thing,, im stuck in a rut so Im kicking myself up the bum today and getting back on track, your food looks yummy but I think tom puree does have a syns I might be wrong but i think its only like 1 syn a table spoon not much... I like green days cos you can eat lots of comfort foods like mash and pasta but I like to mix it up like you cos I think lots of carbs slows weight loss down a bit... anyway good luck WE CAN DO IT!!!!!
 
Day 2 green

Breakfast - egg and baked beans FREE

Lunch - plain cous cous, chick peas, carrot, pepper, tomato, broccoli, lemon juice, stock cube FREE low fat feta HexA

Snack - mugshot 1% FREE

I just strated a diary again too (only yesterday) Reading your first post sounded so similar to mine.

Good luck with your journey - you have done so well so far. Im like you with carbs - they just dont like me :mad:. x

I think these are around 7 syns babe! I think they're different syn values for the diff flavours but I used to eat these and I was devo when I found out the syn value!
