Lipotrim - New start! Help!

Hi guys,

I'm just new to lipotrim and looking for some help/support to get me through.

I'm just started my 3rd day and woke up starving!! This first day the hunger has started to affect me and I'm really tired today.

After having a baby last year as well as quitting smoking, I put on 2 and a half stone and to my heaviest weight ever - I don't really want to post what I weigh as I'm a bit ashamed I've let it get this far.

I feel okay after having my shakes and I do drink water or black tea at all times but the struggle has started now. I done lipotrim once before when I was 18 years old and only weighed 14 stone at the time and thought I was fat then haha. Lol if only I was that skinny again. Haha but I only lasted a week the last time around.

Hopefully some guidance this time around will be good as I didn't know about the forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated xxx :(

Hi there Leapete89 - welcome to the forum and well done got starting Lipotrim. I have just started my Refeed week after doing this for 9 weeks and losing 3 stone - so I can say it definitely works and is quite quick too.

So tips to help you - its really normal to feel hungry in the first week - but after the first week, you will notice it gets less and less as you move into the ketosis stage - try to keep yourself occupied (I found myself sitting thinking of food instead of going out socialising) so try to do something different instead - e.g. I took my dog out a lot more for walks. I can promise you the hunger gets better. Drinking water helps with the hunger too - guess thats why they tell you to drink a lot of it.

I also try to ensure that I have a variety of drinks that I can have too - I used to drink coffee in the morning and early afternoon, and green tea and peppermint tea later in the day - quite often if I found myself bored and having a craving for food, I would put my coat on and just walk to a coffee shop and grab a peppermint tea.

The other thing that helped me a lot is the support. My partner did the diet with me, and together we were much stronger. But I know not everyone will have that support of someone to do it with but make sure you surround yourself with people who are actively supporting you rather than trying to tempt you

Finally - the lipotrim products are quite limited in flavours - so try to invent your own things to do with them, e.g.:
Make the chocolate shake with hot water instead of cold and have a hot chocolate
Make the chocolate with a hot mint tea for a mint chocolate
Add instant coffee to the vanilla milkshake for a coffee flavour
Make the milk shakes with less water as a mousse - for something to eat with a spoon
You can warm the flap jacks under a grill to make a flap jack which is a little easier to make (they are quite hard otherwise and not everyones taste)
You can make a chocolate brownie by mixing the chocolate milkshake into a thick paste and cooking it for a few mins in the microwave.

There are loads more things that people have tried on here, but these are just a few of ours - ultimately, the more variety you have the more unlikely you are to quit because you are bored.

Good luck, I hope you are near the end of your first week and sorry for the late reply - let me know if you have any other questions - I am more than happy to help

Paul
