Hiya! Sounds like you're doing really well honey so I wouldn't worry too much, but I can see why you might be a little frustrated.
My top tips for speeding up weight loss:
1) SP SP SP! I am a carb-lover so of course I really enjoy being able to eat pasta/rice/potatoes on slimming world but it's no secret that carbs are not as filling gram for gram as protein and fat. Additionally, depending on their glycemic index, they can cause insulin spikes and blood sugar crashes leading to increased feelings of hunger later on in the day. I don't know if you get access to this on the online version but you could try doing a week of SP. Basically half your plate must contain Speed 'S' foods and half must be Protein 'P' foods. You are allowed your Healthy A choice as usual and
2 Healthy B choices but
only if you plan on following SP for a full 7 days. Our consultant recommends only having the one HeB if you're doing SP days here and there. On top of that you're allowed your 5-15 syns as per usual.
So for example this morning for breakfast I had scrambled eggs with smoked trout and two mandarins. Perfect SP! Slimming world survival has a great 7 day extra easy SP plan
here
Basically it's slimming world but low carb. You can snack on SP foods but the usual mullerlights/mugshots/couscous are out. Also high sugar fruits like bananas, kiwis, grapes etc are not allowed.
2) Body magic! Obviously I'm not sure how active you are but I found that making sure I did at least 30 minutes of exercise a day (even fast walking) also sped up my losses. My absolute faves are exercise classes - zumba and box-er-cise in particular but if you don't want to go to a gym/class then Youtube has hundreds of workouts you can do in the comfort of your own home!
3) Water intake. Another cliche but I drink TONS. Literally 3+ litres of water today and it really helps me because now I know when I get that hunger rumble it's true hunger, and not thirst in disguise. Also helps to drink ~500ml before a meal and another 500 throughout to maximise fullness.
I hope these helped some but looking at your food diary you're doing brilliantly anyway! How much do you have to lose? If it is only a moderate amount then it's natural it will come off at a slower pace.
(Warning: Calorie talk ahoy!)
When I was at my heaviest and losing an average 4/5lbs a week people at group asked me how I did it - it was mostly a case of being bigger and therefore burning more calories anyway! For example at 275lbs (my starting weight) my body burned around 2100 calories even with absolutely
zero exercise (which is called your Basal Metabolic Rate). Therefore any semi-decent calorie deficit was bound to produce good results. However now that I'm 198lbs my BMR is 1740, which means my losses are becoming more moderate. You can apply a modifier to the BMR depending on how active you are to get your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) but in general as you lose weight the amount of calories you have to cut to achieve the same results increases.
Of course, some people hate calorie counting so feel free to ignore all this! It's just interesting to me haha
From the looks of your picture you are a slimmer lady and hence you might lose at a pace that seems slower than many people here. But realistically long-term weight loss with maintenance means making changes you can stick to! If you can see yourself eating like this for a long time, and the weight is coming off (even if it's only every other week) you're doing
fab and shouldn't worry yourself.
