If you don't already have it, you should get a book called "Carbs and Cals" - horrible abbreviations but a useful book!
It gives carbohydrate, calorie, protein and fat content of many foods, in a picture format.
Then you just choose the lower-carbohydrate foods from the SW lists. It is up to you to choose what you want from the free foods lists - nothing is obligatory.
