low point stew?

With the cold weather coming in and not many pennies am looking for low point stew recipes. (or similiar) These should feed me and my daughter for a few days if i make enough.

Just bung a load of veg in a pot point the potatoes and the parsnip then add what ever meat you decide and some oxo's and away you go
