Does anybody know of a recipe for an apple crumble that's low in Syns? It's my favourite dessert ever and I haven't had it for a long time and I'm craving it now its so darn cold!
If I make the crumble topping myself and have Waitrose low fat fresh custard (so yummy) with it, it wouldn't be too bad would it?
And also what's the deal with the apples once they are cooked? Are they high in Syns?

Thanks in advance x

you could always make a crumble topping with crushed ryvitas mixed with a little sugar (syns) or sweetener also if you like rhubarb stew that with sweetener its lower syn

I don't like rhubarb and I'd rather use sugar over sweetener. I know it's Syns but I HATE sweetener!! I'm not a big fan of Ryvita's so I'm not sure I'd like them on top of a crumble...

I'd hex the porridge oats as well and probably make my own custard with skimmed milk instead.
