Magazine Eating Plans.

Has anyone done the eating plans before? Was your loss better than usual?

I'm planning on doing the one in this months magazine, the meals all look pretty tasty :)
 
My Nan did one once to get back on track. If i remember rightly she lost 4.5 that week. Good luck
 
I've done them before and have lost 3-4lb each time. I would say they are good if you haven't got much time to plan meals or need a bit of inspiration.

The only disadvantage for me is that I didn't always fancy what was on the menu for that day and then was faffing around trying to think of something else, but it all fairness, I think that's a problem with me being picky and not a fault of the plan.

I quite often use them as a base, then tweak it to what I like/have time for.
For instance this month they have a Tuna Pasta, but I hate Tuna so that was my BNS Risotto night.
The lunches aren't always practical on a work day so I just make it so it works.
 
I am often tempted but can't use them because they don't do a full week of Green and I'm a veggie.

There is also a sample week on the SW website I believe if you wanted to try that/mix it up a bit.
 
I have looked at some of the plans but either didn't fancy the menu or was not possible to follow. Every couple of weeks, I go shopping and plan my meals as I go along. As it is only me, I don't have to worry about preparing for others and can chop &change as and when.
