making SW chip 1/3 superfree on EE

Have done this a couple of times now for lunch and its Yum.

SW chips made with skins on like wedges, frylight, chili flakes and salt.
For the last 5 mins in the oven cut up a whole red pepper and make strips to put in with the wedges. When done pour over a small tin of beans or spagetti hoops.

Yum. Filling , tasty and 1/3 free I hope .

What do you think?

you could add some cherry tomatoes along with the peppers to make it even yummier lol but sounds lovely anyway

sorry meant to say potatoes are not a superfree food only the peppers would be so you would have to fill 1/3 of plate with them

What about making your chips out of butternut squash - they make gorgeous chips and they're superfree!!!!!!!

You can also make chips 1/3 superfree with Butternut squash in exactly the same way as you would potatoes. Theyre so yummy. You can also toss them in chilli and garlic or lemon juice for extra flavour. Big hit in our house we love them

Oh thanks, the butternut squash chips sound smashing and I will try them.

I did think that having a whole red pepper with the chips would make it ok- but looks like I was wrong.

Got a lot to learn. :sigh:
