making up soup


Absolutely Determined!
Everyone does it a little differently. I was advised to first make it into a paste using a little cold water, and then blend it with the hot water. xx
I always fry a little onion first (using a 1 cal spray like 'Fry Light') then add some vegetable stock and whatever vegetables I have to hand. Let it simmer for about 20 mins and then stick it through the blender. I've tried making soup without adding the fried onion but found that it's nicer with...it gives it a yummy caramalised taste!

I never made it into a paste. Water in beaker, add powder...whizzz. (5 seconds to prepare my own dinner :D) Perfectly smooth soup :cool:

The only one I made into a paste was spicy tomato, all the others I just added water and blended. I am however, yet to find one I like :0(
