mango chutney

    600g chopped mango
    1/2 cup cider vinegar
    pinch cardamon,
    2 tsp lazy garlic
    2 tsp lazy chilli
    1 cup sweetener
    2 tsp lazy ginger


    put mango in slow cookerwith,cider vinegar and mix.
    turn on to high with lid on.cook for 2-2.5 hrs,stir occasionally.
    add sweetner,chilli,garlic,ginger,saltand stir until sweetener dissolves.
    replace lid.cook for 2-3 hrs until mix is thick and no runnt bits left..stir every 15-20 mins during the last hr.
    allow to cool and put in warm washed jars. will last for about year.
    this doesn't taste too good when warm but is lovely when cold so dont think youve made a mistake if you taste it when warm.
    if you like it spicier add more chilli and garlic.
    I made this for christmas presnts last year and everyone has asked for more next year.Just put into pretty sealed jars and tie ribbon round it.

    it has 22 syns in total-would say less than 1/2 syn per tbsp.
