Mark's Daily Diary

Doubt I'll be on later....I'll be glued to footy and CSI later! :)

Don't work too hard and don't get stressed with them or take any cr@p.

Don't let them bully you out. IMHO you're in a no-lose position, but as we all know, companies know all the slimy routes out of things.

Good luck anyway and I'll catch you tomorrow.

DAY 16:

Started off the day at 7:00am with a full Choc shake...mmmm...nice way to start the day.

Got a call at 9:30 at work from school confirming little one had chicken pox and had to come home, so spent all day working at home.

Had coffee and water all day....boy was I wishing I didn't do the full shake so early in the day. lol

Spent the day working at home and tending to little one's needs (fortunately she was relatively OK). Had the Soup around 8pm last night.

Had a fybogel around 4pm as I felt so bunged up, then at around 9pm last night I had the most horrible stomach pains. I can only describe it as what you feel like, just before you need to dash to the loo with runs.....and did I dash....and.....even a rabbit would be disappointed with what came out! lol

I managed more water today than I have in the last few days, and I felt quite good about it, although I was freezing. I can only drink "cold" water, and with house being cold because of little ones pox, i was freezing! lol

Anyway, tomorrow night will be a good test....As my little one is missing red-nose day at school on Friday and they were supposed to be making biccies, I've promised to do some baking with her (which I love doing anyway). We're going to make crunchy peanut biccies! :) She gave up chocolate for lent, so at least that temptation won't be there! lol

Right, back to work...I'm waffling....

hey,

looks like this diet has been a bit of a nightmare for you (apart from great weight loss) Well done for sticking with it where others would falter.. keep it up

Thanks Ollie, it's not been plain-sailing, but I guess no diet ever is, and like you said, the weight is coming off, so can't complain to much! lol

Awww the biccies sound yummy!! Save me one please :)

How is the little one today??

Are you back to work or at home??

Hi Chelly,

Little one not good today, like a dalmation with all the spots.

The biccies do look yummy....and apparently they taste as good as they look, crunchy and sweet! :(

I'll be working at home again tomorrow, OH can only get Friday off...

Hope your work is going OK.

I was off today... Back in tomorrow at 3 with my letter in hand!!! lol!!

Did you manage to make them without eating???? Well done!!!

The medal of the day goes to you!!!

Yeah, no problem....little one got the bowl to clear, the rest went straight in the oven then out onto a rack to cool. All in a box to be eaten later.....little one has promised to save one for me though (I can't see that happening with the way OH and her have been going through them! lol).

Day 17:

After yesterdays long day, decided to try a different tactic and didn't have my first shake until lunchtime when I did a full Vanillan and coffee one. Had a second choc and coffee shake at 7pm. Managed 4 litres of water today and plenty of coffee and tea. Even managed to make the biccies without sampling a single thing (although the cubed butter coated in brown sugar looked good enough to eat! lmao).

hahahaha!! Sounds gross... But I think if i had seen them I would more than likely feel the same lol!!!

Well the one they save for you you can half with me :)

How are you today?

hope little one is alright and hope all is goign well mate

Thanks Adam, I'm doing OK...diet still ongoing, so no relapses there and running around for little one is getting me some exercise too! ;)

Awww I dont have kids so I cant relate but i know what you mean!!

is she not getting better yet??

Nah, to be honest, she's a lot worse today...never known a child get them as bad as this...they are in every hole (ears, belly button, bum and down there too), as well as her head and face (including upper and lower eyelids).

She looks like she's been whitened up to be a clown with all the calomine lotion on her.

Been chems this morning for anti-histimines as she was screaming with how itchy she was. :(

Touch wood, the anti-hists seem to be working as she's calmed down a lot. They are supposed to make her drowsy too, so hopefully that will help.

omg that sounds awful!! How long do chicken pox usually last for?

Normally a few days....5-7 days from when first spot appears they start going scabby.

So, that being the case we've got a couple of days to go...

awww!! Well I have I have to go get ready for work!!

Hope she is ok and not too itchy!! Good luck!!! xx

I have worked out whats best for me. Hot water first thing in the morning, then glasses of cold until my breakfast at 10.30, wizz up my shakes with 6 ice-cubes, yum! Lunch at 3.30, more water until dinner at 8.00 pm. Might have the occasional peppermint tea. Not experienced much in the way of headaches at all. Lucky, I guess. Dont give up, we are all here to support each other, this is an incredible site...!!!

Juat wanted to say AWWWWWW poor little sausage!!!!

Your daughter - not you! ;) xx
