If you loved Marley and Me, can I recommend From Baghdad with Love, it is another doggie based story and is a true account of how an American serviceman rescued dogs in Iraq ... it is such a lovely read, but be prepared with tissues :)

I loved this book, and it made me want a dog even though I'm a cat person! The film wasn't as good, but books are always better than the film version.

I found that the film rushed the plot and some of the funniest/saddest scenes in the book werent conveyed enough in the film IMO. If you have read the book then like me you may be disappointed in the film. If you haven't read the book then it is still a good film. xxxxx
