May Challenge Anyone?

Had a sneaky weigh in today coz I had a feeling Im doing well I only need 1lb more off to reach my target of 10lbs!! I can't believe it! I'll do proper weigh in on Monday as usual x :-D xx
 
I am a STS for the past fortnight, which is a bit discouraging, but I have lost another 0.5% body fat so I am still building muscle. My aim is to try and lose my final 12lbs whilst trying to build more muscle (which burns more calories!), but right now I seem to be doing one at the expense of the other.

I am losing inches though, so I don't care too much that the scales are not being kind to me right now :rolleyes: and I am VERY pleased to mention that I managed to out-exercise some young male student nurses at the RCN Congress this week...... I was still going long after they all dropped out - not bad for a 53 year old huh? :D ;)

A pound off this morning - not fabulous, but better than nothing and good overall when you consider I have been away for the best part of two weeks this month relying on whatever (poor) food I have been served up at various congresses and courses :-/

Still, it averages out at 1/2 a pound a week which is what I aiming for just now and I am 1.5lbs closer to target than I was at the beginning of May - so it's all good really!

Hi Sam how quick have you lost weight? And how much do you have to lose if you don't mind me asking :)
 
I've been losing it on and off for about a year!! I've lost 30lbs in a year, slowly and surely is my motto! It was my first week back dieting so that's why I've lost 11lbs I'm aiming for about 3 or 4 next month :-D x
