McDonalds?

kale ? wont it be rotten?

Kale lasts for quite a long time I think.

I like the sound of the cabbage and leek, bet its nice sauteed in butter, mmmm

Thats high really, especially if I want salad at lunch. Suppose it would be ok if I had not had many carbs during the day and had it with my evening meal?

Maybe once a week (I shouldn't have mentioned it, sorry!).

I would stick with the original list for induction - I plough through cabbage, lettuce (little gem and iceberg) and spinach, mushrooms 2-3 times a week, courgette occasionally, tomatoes hardly ever :)

I love cabbage and lettuce and mushrooms the most so will stick to them for now. Need to re read my book I think!

It is indeed. 1 Mug of the cabbage and leek mix would be OK on induction I'd think, there isn't a lot of leek in it, not the tesco one anyway Steph.

I love leek & cabbage panfried in butter with bacon lardons & cream, then spooned over steak with celeriac chips!

I love how a thread about mcdonalds has turned into a 'how yummy is cabbage' thread.

But I LOVE cabbage. Are the leek+cabbage bags from tesco then?

Oooh just looked up the carb count on the sainsburys one - 1.9g for half a bag, that's really good considering it has leeks in. That's going on my shopping list. Thank you <3

Yes the bags tend to be waaay different from fitnesspal or anything!
