I'm really not sure so i'm not much help i'm afraid. you're not the only one with higgaldy piggaldy periods though...mine last for three weeks then i have a weeks break! how annoying! I started a new pill about a month before starting cd so I'm putting it down to the change of contraception at this point.

You're definately not pregnant are you? worth taking a test just in case? :)

I have done 4 tests - not that im paranoid or anything - all negative. Doctor done one too. Just wondered if anyone else had had their cycle mucked up. I feel like im all mucked up. Just want to come on and get on with my weight lose! Wot if i am? Will the diet hurt the baby? God, i need to sort this out.

It may just be your body adjusting, you have lost a lot of weight in a short time. Did they go haywire all the way through dieting ?

No, all through the dieting they have been normal ish. You have done so well. I was a size 28/30 and now 16! It feels so good. Keep going, thanks for the feedback.

My cycle has been completely hit by SSing to put your mind at rest... for the first 6=8 weeks I had a constant TOTM or Time of the Day!!, it is starting to sort itself out now. but went to see my doctors and she said it is probably just my hormones adjusting to my new body!!Don't worry, hopefully yours will right itself too...Love

hey calm down...(easier said than done)..4tests+ the gp...trust the tests.
I believe that large/rapid/sustained weight loss can cause both irregular &/or missed periods.
As long as you don't go below a healthy BMI it should sort itself out ....hopefully sooner rather than later, or there'll be a national shortage of pregnancy tests:p .

oh my god, thank goodness someone else has wonky periods!

I didn't want to ask incase people thought I was a freak, but basically I have had almost constant periods since starting 4 weeks ago!

There are few days I don't bleed, then I do, and it started again today, heaviest period EVER. But I am hoping they do sort themselves out eventually too.

This thread has put my mind at ease for sure, thanks for brining it up
