Metformin

Do you take it while on ss? I'm only on it for pcos not diabetes but never know what's for the best? Take it not take it?

I'd ask your dr. I was on metformin when pregnant. The drs got into real trouble. As they put me on a fast, incase they had to deliver, then gave me my metformin dose and I was really ill, the metformin caused my already low blood sugars to dive and I was rushed to theatre for delivery

I have pcos, diagnosed with it when i was 10.
I came off metformin years ago as i suffered from bad side affects to it, the doctor didn't even suggest going back on it when he signed my medical forms for this diet! x
