Hi All,

I am planning on having another milk week this week as we should have been on it the last week but LLC forgot to tell us. I can't seem to find my green book with the measurements in. Could someone tell me how much Semi-skimmed milk I can have per day.

Many Thanks x

I haven't done milk week but was told by the LLC that you just make up the packs with milk instead of water so just follow the pack directions. I might be wrong though...

Thats how you use the milk, but there is a daily limit to the amount of milk used. :)

In my green book it is 1.5 litres per day of skimmed milk, but this has since been reduced to 580mls per day! Much more manageable. :)

I did milk week recently and worked on using semi-skimmed at, i think, 480mls per day.

Its about half a litre per day anyway Becks!

Thanks for all your replies guys. I did milk week last week and lost 5lb!!! It has really helped kickstart my losses again and stopped the lapsing (which helps!!)

I'm ready to get rid of the last bit now. Yippee!!

Hi guys, it's my milk week next week starting tomorrow, and im wondering what the point is of it? does it bring you out of ketosis? how much weight have people lost on it?

It is in place because NICE has never "tested" a VLCD beyond 14 weeks.

I personally reccomend it for health reasons. Its a lot you ask of your body on this diet.

It will not kick you out of ketosis.

I lost 3 pounds that week. Becks just lost 5 doing it.

:)
