Millet on EE

Hello - I have a recipe for millet porridge and I'm desperate to try it

I'm assuming that whole millet is free as it is a grain just like couscous etc does this mean that I have found myself a new FREE cereal alternative???? I could make it with skim milk/water and even stir in a yogurt at the end.....top with fruit and voila! :D

Could someone confirm this :D or burst my bubble

If you find some carole vorderman recipes - she was big on millet because it's gluten free and oats aren't.... So are millet flakes free? That's what i would have used as a porridge sub.... or does it need to be the bird seed looking millet?

Yep that about sums up my porridge - bird seed.
Not sure if I didnt cook it long enough but it was gritty and not quite as delicious as I imagined! Oh well - it was a change and free so i wont complain :)

I have the carol.v detox book somewhere will take a look - thanx

Oh dear.... i thought you were going to triumph with a HE free breakfast!! Thanks for guinea pigging for us! x
