1lb back on for me this week. 12.6 on the scales. Don’t know if I’m surprised or not, it was my hubby’s birthday over the weekend so we ate out and had a few drinks but I rained it back in and was hoping for a small loss. I’m loaded with cold too, not sure if that’s contributed, so hopefully see a bigger drop this week when I’m feeling perkier. Back on it especially with the water coz I’ve been slacking. Hoping for 2lbs this week then STS the week after as I’m away in London for a few days for my anniversary then no more excuses until the end of the challenge.

Our body can hold onto fluids for many reasons. I am sure being full of cold your body is in the healing process which is known for fluid retention. I hope you feel better soon and next week the scales are showing positive results.

I'm nervous about weigh in tomorrow. For whatever reason, the scale is up 6 pounds as of tonight. That seems like an awful lot of "water weight" I will have to drop to see a loss in the morning. Trying not to be discouraged. But yes, still shooting to reach my target.

Well, I was right. The scale is up 1.8 pounds from last week. I'm trying so hard not to be discouraged. I worked out 5x (4 weight sessions, 1 1000 calorie burn cardio session). But, my 5 eating days were once again around maintenance calories (1900) rather than weight loss (1400). So I've meal planned for the next week to hit just under 1600 calories for my 5 eating days. I'm trying so hard not feel like I'm on a diet so I can continue building a healthy relationship with food and 1400 is just a bit too restrictive. But if I hit about 1600 all week, I will have reduced another 1500 total, so hopefully will see a loss next week.

lol even with my revised target still not looking hopeful even being 💯 bar a caramilk 😂 however will keep on going and only going to the wedding this Friday off plan and have confined I won’t be going to day 2 celebrations so hopefully that will keep me on track! Also need to lose more as the coach started to suggest I should be involved in the coaching as daughter is showing promise as a comag

I have lost 3lb this week. I have now lost 5 stone :wee: and now lost over half of the weight I had to lose. So over the moon this morning. My final milestone I have reached a new stone bracket. So nice to 15 on the scales. Going to be MIA next week as going on holiday to Stratford upon avon in a lodge cabin

Newbie here and looking forward to joining the Christmas Challenge when your Summer Challenge ends. I‘m in my 3rd week of being back on track with counting points and will follow along with you for September by setting a mini goal. I’m down 4.4, but would like to be down at least 10 total by end of September. You are all doing great!

great work this week, we gain weight for a myriad of reasons from exercising and the body retaining fluid to repair those micro tears sustained during exercise. Our hormone can play a part in a temporary weight gain. Salt is my kryptonite for making me gain weight overnight. if i eat something salty for dinner like gammon i can gain 2 to 3 pound overnight. But these gains can be frustrating when you have been good all week food and drink wise.
