Does anyone else find that if they've not had a very good week, they miss group?
I'm fed up of not sticking to plan because I know how easy it is! X

I find missing group is a slippery slope for me and I've vowed to myself never to miss group again. If I have a bad week and don't face up to it on a Thursday I relax and think ill have a few more days eating what I want then before I know it it's Thursday again and I'm in a much worse postion than I was the week before!

Missing group can be fatal but you keep saying you will start afresh tomorrow and pull it back before weighing in next week, but often tomorrow never comes.
If you go to class then yes there might be an ouch moment when you get on the scales but you come away motivated and raring to go for the new week xx

I'm the same. I'm only 2.5lbs away from my 2st award and feel guilt for not having lost anything this week and I haven't been 100% on plan.

No excuses not to either it's just greed xx

Missing group is sabotage for me. My mind tells me its a free pass to eat what i want but in reality, its the not staying on plan and eating rubbish that destroys all my hard work. I never went to group 3 weeks ago, I nearly never went the following week neither because I got myself in a tizz about gaining but faced it and got a 1.5 gain. Much less than I thought and total waste of energy worrying about it. I know people say this all the time, but it really gives you that kick to get back into it. I lost 3 lbs last week and was buzzing, its crazy how this messes with our minds so much. Good luck, you can do it xx

Ditto was everyone else has said!!

Its just not worth it as I feel that I dont properly get back on track until I've been to class

100% agree that missing class is a slippery slope...best to go and face the music!
  9. I reason with myself this way - if I have gained and I go to class, what will happen? Will the sky fall in? Will the apocalypse arrive? Probably not. I may look a bit foolish, but then I am used to that!!

And if I don't go to class? Actually, nothing will have changed. I will still have gained - not seeing it on the scales doesn't mean it isn't there. The sky still won't fall in, but I won't have achieved anything either. And I will have to pay for the missing week anyway!

You're right. I am going to go tomorrow morning and get out of this mind set. I think It's because I feel guilty knowing I've not stuck to it but then that's my fault ... its the easiest lifestyle to live and can still have treats so I just need a little more will power.

Don't be so hard on yourself hun, just learn from it and move on! I'm sure everyone has been there, I know I have... Good luck for a great week, you'll have that half a pound knocked out in no time!
