mix a mousse

Is it worth getting some? Does it make a difference to the shakes? By this I mean flavour rather than texture.
What amount do you get and what does it cost?

Doesn't change the taste but is a fabulous change from a shake. Love the butterscotch one and toffee and walnut. I make mine up to 300mls and it makes a huge bowlful which fills me up.

I pay around £4 or £4.50 for a tub which lasts a couple of weeks. If you get some then you need to mix a spoonful into the packet and stir it around before you add the water and blend for at least 2 mins.

I couldn't manage without a mousse every couple of days really

one other thing, if you can, seive it before you pop it in the fridge as I found I always ended up with lumps of gelatine and so did my CDC!

I think I'd need a thick sieve.

I find providing I mix the powder into the shake (dry container) for a just few seconds with a knife, add water or milk and blend it. My hand blender is pretty powerful. Just make sure you get the sides though or you will get lumps.

Ps. If you look in the sticky section at the top, there's hints and tips on one of the first few pages I think on how to get the best results with all the packets.

Get some, get some, do it, do it, do it!!!!! The best thing ever - it makes your shakes last for ages as you can nibble away at them with a teaspoon - here's an older thread with some good mixing instructions. I never had to sieve mine, follow the tips here for the perfect mousse:
