Hi all, I am starting ss on Tuesday. I have just remembered that I am on a first aid course that day!! So I might find it difficult mixing my shakes. I didn't get any tetras :-( so I was wondering if I could get a black americano iced coffee from Starbucks and mix in my Vanilla shake. Reason being I don't want ppl to ask what I'm drink blah blah blah, as I don't know any of the ppl too. I don't want to look out of place. I have a shaker Thingy. I was planning on have my shakes at the following times 11:00am 4:00pm & 9:00pm.
    Any tips peeps thanks x

I used to always mix vanilla shake with coffee - it was like having a skinny latte! x

Can't say I've ever tried mixing a shake with a shop-bought coffee. I've done it using instant coffee using my own kettle, etc.

I'll be honest and say I'm not sure whether that'll turn out too great or whether you'll end up with very lumpy coffee. :) Is it safe to use the shaker with hot drinks? (you can tell I've never had one of those either. :))

    Maybe someone else here knows?

From experience, I wouldn't use the shaker to mix hot drinks... I tried to mix my coffee and vanilla at work and ended up spending hours picking lumps of soggy vanilla powder out of my hair after it exploded LOL!

Lol yep, I've done that many moons ago with a Lipotrim soup!
Shook it up in a Slimfast shaker and.......POP the lid flew off and decorated my kitchen!!!
Actually, it's really dangerous having all that boiling water flying around!

Hi all, I wanted to try it with iced coffee so it's cold. I was going to mix the shake in my shaker then add it to the iced coffee. I suppose I won't know until I try :)
Thanks for all the replies. I can't wait to get started xx
