You sure can, just check the carb content. I get large gold bags of 12 small packs from the pound shops, less than 0.3 carbs per bag.

Ugh - tried the white pack in the pub at the weekend. They weren't nice at all. Hard and fatty.

I love the poundland ones - gold top - light and fluffy. And when i was in madrid they sold pork puffs - all light puffy things- even dh enjoyed. Wonder if there is a recipe so we could make them?
