Hi all just wondering if anyone else has tried any Mr Vikkis stuff? they do spicey sauces,paste,chutneys ect. I love the stuff but not sure on the syn value of some of the things??

As a general rule, if it's a wet spice mix (like a paste) its got oil in it, and so has syns.

Chutneys & sauces tend to be between 1/2 & 2 syns a tablespoon, depending on the calories. You could check the calories & use the 20 calories = 1 syn equation to figure it out.

yeah ive been counting most of the sauce's as 1 syn per tbs & the paste as 1.5 syn, there isnt any nutritional info on them its a small company in cumbria but cant get enough of the stuff its too nice!!
