what i would do if you like garlic.. if cut them up into like quarters.. spray an oven bowl with spray light.. put some garlic powder.. crushed garlic, whatever into it.. quite a lot.. and then put in the oven for like 20 mins.. doesnt need butter (unless you want of course).. as the mushrooms cook in their own juices.. you could always add a wee bit of water if you feel it might be too dry..
On the other hand.. depending on how much you like mushrooms.. (my fave things in the world.. i could eat a whole plate of them).. you could make a bolagnaise sauce.. just get your mushrooms.. spray light.. onions maybe? peppers.. whatever.. spray light fry them.. then add a tin of chopped tomatos.. some herbs.. but of garlic.. and i think (i dont do SW).. it would be free on a green day to go with some pasta.. or something..
oorrr.. some kebab sticks.. and put a variety of veg on them.. with more mushrooms than other veg.. and there you have mushroom kebabs..
Hmm.. maybe not eating food has made me a little mushroom crazy..
I fry-ight them with a little garlic puree, and put in a pyrex bowl, sprinkle with grated babybel-lights and grill til golden crispy. I like to make a batch of potatoes, cut up, with loads of veg, including mushrooms, courgette, peppers and then roast them in the oven with rosemary (fresh or dried) sprinkled over them.
