My 12 Week Challenge starting today - Anyone care to join? - LETS DO IT!!

You're all so inspiring, ladies!
Going well so far ! Just, as people have said, water is a struggle!
Felt like crap today though. You know when you have those "I'm so fat and hideous" days? I usually comfort eat, so not turning to food it difficult. :/ anyway, hope you all have a really good week! X

Morning ladies and would love to hear weigh in results please!

A chart is good - I monitor my weekly WI's on a spreadsheet...

Weekends are hard - so today is Monday, and lets challenge ourselves to a week of 100% SS! I was 100% yesterday too...

Pinkpussy - I dont think your goal is unachievable at all! I'm on week 6 and just short of 2st loss - if all goes well this week, I may make my 2st loss - that would make it 6 weeks and 2st loss....!

Its horrible weather here - heading into autumn, rainy and miz and I must say I could do with something nice and stewy to eat... but alas, I sit here and am drinking my green tea and water!

I am DETERMINED to lose this weight - for GOOD!

Water, Water and more WATER........ LETS GO FOR IT!

Day three for me and have woken up without a headache :) this is my first day at work since being on plan so hoping it goes ok as my 'meals' have to be more spread out when at work as I am restricted to break times, fingers crossed x

I lost a stone in just over a month!!! Hoping by the begining of april i'l lose another. 100% SS from today no cheating wat so ever back to business it is :) got my weigh in later this morning dreading it abit to be honest.

Hello wonderful slimming ladies! Hope everyone is in good health and in the "zone" to knock this week out!
I am definitely [STRIKE]ready[/STRIKE] determined to have a 100% week, now that the horrid weekend is over!
So far I've had a choc-mint shake for breaksfast, and I'm currently sipping on veggie soup... the plan is for porridge/tetra for snack and porridge/soup for dinner, depending on how I feel.

Don't have a weigh-in until Wed. 20, so I will neeeed to be on the up-n-up... I don't like to weigh at home, as it usually escalates in an unhealthy serial-weighing frenzy afterwards.

Afsana - Congrats on your weightloss, such the ROCKSTAR!

lauren2244 - I guess you've been drinking your water like mad or a) you're not a carb-addict like I am or b) just plain LUCKY:rolleyes: Not only do I still have headaches on/off, I am hungry as heck (2 weeks in)

Jillybeans - That's I was the first time around! have you found the great excel on this forum?? It is AWESOME... I don't use it currently because I'm trying not to get in an "obsessive-mode"... Just taking it one day at a time

So off I go ready to tear this day up!

There you are Enlightenme! I was wondering where you'd gone! Hellooo

What excel spreadhseet? I just do a basic one for myself with my weekly measurements and WI's... nothing fancy! Btw, I spoke to my CDC and she said I could have the porridges and soups, but I decided against it personally, as I think it would make me think I could eat again.... decided I'd stick to shakes for the 12 weeks rather....

I'm a compulsive weigh'er...:busted::busted::busted::devilangel::devilangel: except when I've eaten something....

I've become obsessed with what my kids eat now too..... forcing veggies and fruit into them - and now that I have a constant supply of water bottles in the fridge, they are drinking more water and less juice! I also feel guilty for them - they are skinny - so they have ice cream and puddings at night, they can afford to... I dont want them to suffer, or see food as bad or evil coz of ME.

PS : I'm into week 6 and STILL get hungry!:17729::17729:

Hi everyone.

So I'm ashamed to admit that I have cheated. I went out on Friday night with lots of my good friends and its rare that we ever go out all together. So I had a drink...actually quite a few drinks. This was enough to take me straight out of ketosis. Then as I was hungover the next day I just had to eat something as felt like I was dying! I won't go into details, and although I didn't eat any junk I did eat carbs.

I went to go and see my mum yesterday for mothers day and she was cooking roast lamb for everyone. I was so close to giving up it was unbelievable, but I took my shake round and managed to stick to it 100%. It could have been all so easy to give up, but I'm determined not to. Back on that horse!!! Weigh in this morning showed only a 1lb weight loss this week :cry:still means i'm 11lbs down in two weeks though. As much as i'm irritated with myself, I had such a lovely weekend with my friends and b/f, and I got straight back onto it so it's not all bad.

So proud to see everyone else is holding strong! xxxxx

Keep your head up and get back in track. I've been there and have totally cut out all socialising for the next 12 weeks.

I know it sounds extreme but hey!!! I don't do well round temptation and I won't to shock people after my weightloss.

Keep at it and throw the cravings in the bin ?

Hey Fairyhobnob, welcome back! :grouphugg::grouphugg:
That's why i HATE weekends, it was always synonymous to winding down "chillaxing" with good stuff. I understand the irritation, esp knowing that a slip can undo the hard work (and it's such hard work)! But never mind! Just get back to your water and continue on, the weightloss will persevere. Glad it wasn't an ALL or NOTHING moment for you, the important thing is that you're here with us now.

Here is the link to the spreadsheet:
http://www.minimins.com/cambridge-diet-forum/22861-graph-spreadsheet-14.html#post1284850
It is FAB FAB FAB, hope you guys enjoy it, it was sooo much fun, esp for projection :D

Thanks for the graph! Its amazing - but - you and I work in kg's and the spreadsheet is "protected" unless you use inches and lbs? I know you work in kg's - did you manage to find a way around this?

Hi Fairy! Sorry (and a bit jealous) of your night out! Good that you resisted that yummy lamb (dont know if I could've!) but the thing is - you're back here with us and on plan again! Just hop right back onto that horse!

Well done Afsana! A loss is a loss is a loss.....

Pinkpussy, I've also cut out socialising and make excuses - tell friends I'm out at family and tell family I'm out with friends... really. Its the only way for me as my willpower wavers at this stage of the game.... and I"m only half way through!!!! I feel the need to reward myself and quite frankly, I dont deserve rewarding! That must wait another 6 weeks!

Cooking a devine stew for my kids - chopped up loads of veggies into it with chicken and so badly want to do the taste test... but.... I stand back! It smells darn good tho!

Having water................. sigh...

It's been sooo long i've had this document, I dont remember, must have taken off the protection as I put my weight in kgs on it, and at the top of the chart, i entered my figures god knows which way  It's a killer chart though, might start using it again

Hilly try not to beat yourself up, ignore the one slip and focus on how many days you did without slipping, don't underestimate how difficult this diet is, you should be proud of yourself!
Weigh in for me is Wednesday, although just had a sneaky look and think I've lost 8lbs which I'm thrilled with! x x x

Hey, would like to join in the 12 week challenge :) I started my 12 weeks yesterday and so far not finding it too bad, but of a headache but nothing major. I see a lot of people say they are drinking 3L of water, I thought you only had to drink 2.25L? Finding drinking so much difficult as I am not a big drinker in general.
X

I really struggle with water also, only way I manage it is to get a big 2 ltr bottle add flavouring to that and take it around everywhere with me until I've drunk it, I started using the water flavourings right from the start, even though you're not meant to because otherwise I would not have managed even one glass of water I hate it so much x x x

I've not tried the flavourings.... too scared to add anything that could hamper weightloss!

Well done sweetaddict! Thats brilliant! Holding thumbs for Weds WI!

I'd love to use the excel spreadsheet - its pretty darn amazing! And detailed! Will fiddle around with it tomorrow and see if/how I can get it to work!! Wow! It plots the weightloss in a graph too...

Hey day three for me and its going well :)

Just a couple of questions though, does anyone know where I can buy flavoured water that doesn't contain citric acid and are you allowed to chew gum?
X
