Well, week 7 has been and gone and I lost another 1lb.

It is a slow weight loss for me, but I take steroids every day which doesn't help, so I am just glad that the scales are moving in a downward direction every week.

So here I go with week 8, I don't think I have ever looked forward to a dieting week on any other diet I have tried over the years - and there have been many, LOL...

Well done Donnie.... You have a very positive attitude, which must be difficult with the steroids slowing things down.... as others have said 1lb a week is 4stone... I know I would be happier 4 stone lighter this time next year. Congrats & good luck.

I am living proof of what Sally said. I lose an average of exactly that and after 63 weeks on SW I am 70lb lighter and amazingly happy.

I don't care about the fact that it will take me another year to reach target as I absolutely KNOW I will get there.

Imagine if we gave up, and then a year passed (which we have got to live through anyway) .......what weight would we be without losing steadily on SW?

Keep it up, mate- you are doing fantastically well

Hey Huni...well done on the loss this week!
As you have said, its a pound in the right direction. Yes, we all want to loose weight quickly, but at the end of the day, it can go back on just as quick....slow and steady won the race!

Well done donnie! Slow and steady is the best way as everyone else has said, its more sustainable longer term rather than loosing massive amounts each week.
