Hi Everyone,
this is my first post on here, I started slimming world on the 8/8/11. I am so determined to lose weight i truly hope i succeed and seeing all your lovely comments and stories to each other on here is really inspiring and nice to be a part off.
I want to share a Recipe with you. It's fairly simple but extremely delicious. This quanity is for one portion so just times by whatever number you require.
This is free on a Green Day
For Sauce -
2 x Spring Onions
4 x Mushrooms
1 X drained tin of chopped tomatoes
2 tsp x mixed herbs (more if you require)
Salt & Pepper
For Meatballs-
85g Extra Lean Mince ( Healthy Extra B on a Green Day)
4 to 5 tsp of Curry Power (I used a mixture of Masala Powder & Mild Curry Powder)
1 Egg
Put the Drained Tin Tomatoes and Herbs in a pan and start cooking. Fry the Spring Onions & Mushrooms in a little fry light. Add to the Tomatoes once cooked. Leave This to Simmer for 5 mins.
Add the egg and bind the mixture into a ball. On a surface (Plate or a chopping board) add some flour, in this divide your mixture into balls. Fry them in Fry light until cooked turning Occassionally. Add these to your Tomatoe Sauce. This will be Ready within 10 minutes so you can put your spaghetti on.
I also sprinkled less than 28g cheese on top as my healthy Extra A.
