My Food Diary. Help/tips always welcome

B - no time today :sigh: You really should try and have some breakfast hun. I know mornings can be a bit of a rush, but even grabbing a HiFi bar or a piece of fruit would be better than nothing. As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
L - Batchelors tomato pot thing, carrot sticks, pickled onions, 2 oranges, 3 sweet onion ryvita (heb), salad cream 2 syns Looks great to me. Lots of yummy SuperFree in there, well done.
D - Spag bol made with pasta, passata and peas Sounds lovely, although you probably need a bit more SuperFree other than peas. Remember, one third of your plate should be SF. It should be fine of course, if you're bulking out your spag bol with lots of yummy veg.
S - two flumps 3 syns, asda GFY choc mousse (4 syns i think but im not 100%) Good for You Chocolate Mousse, chilled, 60g pot - is this it? If so, it's 3.5 Syns on all plans, so you've actually saved half a Syn! :)

Not sure about my HEA yet Just a suggestion, but if you're struggling for a HExA, why not have some cheese sprinkled on top of your spag bol. Yummy :drool:


Hi hun, I've made a few comments/suggestions after looking at your food diary.

Is this your first day on the plan? It looks like you're doing pretty well, there are just a few small changes you could make.

It looks like you're using your Healthy Extras and Syns really well. Well done.

Hi thanks for that, i thought passata is superfree?

I usually do have breakfast but tuesdays are tricky, i regret it now i have a right headache because i was so hungry all morning!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the passatta! That can be counted as SuperFree as it's just seived tomatoes :)

Yeah, I find breakfast can be particularly difficult too, as I'm always in such a rush on a morning. I have my desk at work stuffed with cereal bars and fruit, so if I ever miss breakfast I can grab one of those once I get to work.

You've got me wanting Spaghetti Bolognese now :drool:

B - didnt have any as i was no hungry until lunch time
L - Jacket pot, beans & salad
D - Tefal actifry chips with frylight, chicken breast, bbq sauce (5 syns) oranges
S - Flumps x 3

*i know i didnt have any HE's today!

Friday
B -
L - Batchelors chicken pasta pot, coconut muller, two oranges
D - Chilli with extra lean beef, kidney beans, rice, aldi chilli sauce (unsure of syns for this it has 87 cals per 1/4 jar so will use 6 syns for it)
S - Ryvita x 3 and 250ml ss milk

Saturday
B - weetabix minis & 250ml ss milk
L - LW supernoodles, two oranges
D - Spag bol made with passatta, balsamic vinegar, sweetner, worcester sauce, onion, extra lean beef, peas, bacon with fat removed, spaghetti
S - asda GFY mousse 3.5 syns, flumps x 2 3 syns
